freezes slowly so that small air bubbles dissolve. It is these that usually give a milky, cloudy tone in "normal" ice cubes.
In the restaurant industry, there are suitable machines that manage this process smoothly and fix a perfect result. But, with a simple little trick, you can make clear ice cubes at home too.
In order for the ice in the ice cube bag to freeze slowly, you can put a small cooler bag or some other type of insulating cooling container in the freezer. In this way, the cold is shielded, and then you place the ice cube bags from Toppits® in the cooling container. The liquid in the bag freezes more slowly under these conditions, allowing the air bubbles to dissolve. From Toppits® ice cube bags, you can easily take out individual ice cubes and then safely store the rest in the freezer. Especially during the height of summer, it is easy for the ice cubes not to be completely frozen or for someone to leave a half-full bag of ice cubes in the heat. A trick to keep the texture and shape of the stars a little longer, even at room temperature, is to place them in a strainer. Try placing the strainer over a tray, so that the melt water can drip off the ice cubes without problems. Heat development in air is slower than over water, which means that the ice cubes last longer, even at warm temperatures. So your drink stays nice and chilled for an extra long time!
