Insert a VHS-C tape into the Nedis VCON110BK VHS-C Cassette Converter to record or watch it in a standard VHS VCR. Insert an AA battery to automatically open the front and feed in or out a tape. Please note that 8mm tapes are not compatible with the VCON110BK. Only the tapes that have the VHS-C logo can be used.

Please consider the following when using the VCON110BK in combination with a VHS player and VHS-C cassette:
• Over the years grease and dust not always visible to the eye may have accumulated in the VHS player and VHS-C tapes and may damage tapes inserted or stuck in the player before use. We recommend using VHS cleaners on the equipment.
• Before inserting a VHS-C tape, check that the VHS-C tape is not stretched. If it appears to be stretched, you can reduce the tension by winding up the main gear of the tape ¼ turn (90 degrees).
• Try to use only the normal playback function of the VHS player and avoid using fast forward or reverse whenever possible. It prevents unnecessary stress on the VHS-C cassette tape.

Additional information: When inserting a tape for the first time.
First turn the tape all the way forward and then all the way back before pressing the play button on the VCR
