The Hue Go portable smart light follows you wherever you want, thanks to its built-in rechargeable battery. The lamp gives you from 2.5 hours of brilliant smart lighting to up to 18 hours when using the Cozy Candle light effect.
Support for both Bluetooth and Hue Bridge
Philips Hue has since mid-2019 been updated with additional functions that make it possible to use it as a Bluetooth-connected lighting system. The lamps are compatible with both Bluetooth and the Hue Bridge (ZigBee) and its smart home functionality.
To take the first step into the Hue system more easily, you can now connect (max. 10) lamps directly to the Hue Bluetooth app that looks and feels exactly like the original, just with more limited functionality. This way, you have an opportunity to test Philips Hue, before you decide to buy the Hue Bridge and upgrade to the full-functional system that uses your home network instead of Bluetooth to communicate.
Smart home- functionality is not completely lost with this simpler version of Hue. In addition to the Hue remote control with the dimmer accessory, the Hue Bluetooth function is still fully usable with Amazon Alexa and Google Home (coming soon). So you can control the lights with your voice when you get home, change color and dim whenever you want. To access more functions and accessories, the Hue Bridge is required.
