TELESTAR DIGIBIT TWIN - new ways of distributing satellite signals
Satellite distribution is nothing special - several participants are supplied with digital satellite signals via a multiple LNB or a multi-switch, so that every participant has access to the full range of channels. The TELESTAR DIGIBIT TWIN takes up this point and adds a crucial factor to the options for distributing digital television signals: the network. To date, television via the Internet, known as IPTV, is considered the way of distributing TV content and films via the WWW and is therefore actually the opposite of the classic transmission methods such as cable, terrestrial or satellite - at least until now, because the TELESTAR DIGIBIT TWIN enables the distribution of broadcast signals transmitted digitally via satellite via the home network.

Digital satellite-to-IP converter for 2 participants
The principle of the transmitter is extremely simple: connected to a twin, quattro switch LNB or a multi-switch, the DIGIBIT TWIN converts the satellite signals into IP technology and then makes them available for connection to a network router for feeding into a home network. The converted satellite signals can be distributed via LAN and/or WLAN to up to 2 network connections in the house and used by IPTV-capable devices. These can be so-called "clients" such as PCs, notebooks, tablet PCs, smartphones (with the appropriate software or app), IPTV receivers, TV sets or even games consoles.

Television and more
The TELESTAR DIGIBIT TWIN converts the DVBS signals into a network. This is of course done in the best picture and sound quality, which of course also includes HDTV and Dolby Digital. If supported by the client, additional functions such as querying teletext and EPG data, the recording function or a time-shifted playback of the television program (the so-called timeshift) can also be used.
