Thermostat:
Simply replace the existing knob on your element with the smart element control and the built-in self-learning will begin the thermostat will turn the element on and off as much as needed to keep the room at the desired temperature.
Scheduling and remote control:
You install it in the Nedis SmartLife app (with a Nedis Zigbee gateway: WIFIZBxxx). Then you can schedule when the element should heat a room. Make a weekly or daily schedule or use your smartphone to set the temperature, wherever you are.
Voice control:
By combining it with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, you can change the temperature in the room with voice control. You can also set scenes in the Nedis SmartLife app which can be activated with a push of a button or with a command to Siri shortcuts/Google/Alexa.
Physical control:
Besides all the smart options can you monitor the temperature directly on the LED screen, turn the knob to change the desired room temperature or press it to set the temperature to preset values. A child lock can be activated to prevent unwanted temperature changes.
Sensors:
Based on temperature changes in the room, the smart element control can detect if a door or window has been left open for an extended period and automatically turn off the element. If there is no hot water (e.g. if the central heating is switched off), it senses this and reacts according to the setting.
You can control several elements at the same time so that no room is forgotten. By combining it with other Nedis SmartLife products (for example Zigbee door/window sensor or climate sensor) you can create more accurate and energy efficient systems.
Installation:
Nedis Zigbee gateway (WIFIZBxxx ) is required to install the product in the Nedis SmartLife app (Android/iOS).
No special knowledge or skills (electricity or plumbing) are required for installation. You only need a screwdriver to remove the existing element knob and 2 AA batteries to power the smart element control, as well as hot water for the element to work. If your home has central heating, it must be switched on.
