With the compact size of 43 x 43 mm (excluding base), it is 75% smaller than most detectors for discreet placement. But it is large enough to accommodate a powerful sensor with a 10-year lifespan and an 85-decibel alarm that warns in the earliest stages of a fire.
The fire alarm is very easy to install, either using the supplied 3M tape or the screws. The included lithium battery lasts for 5 years before it needs to be replaced and a reminder will be sent to your phone.
Install this fire alarm in the free Nedis SmartLife app by connecting it to your Zigbee Gateway (WIFIZBxxx ) wirelessly. Can be easily paired with other SmartLife products with additional security features. This could mean, for example, that you set your smart lights so that they light up when smoke develops for easier evacuation.
