A smoke alarm is something every home should have for everyone's safety

Alpina's smart fire detectors are designed to detect when smoke appears and the temperature rises rapidly in a room. It can detect smoke from 0.108 to 0.141 dB/m and is heat sensitive from 54-70 degrees Celsius. As soon as it detects fire or smoke, it warns with an audible signal of 85 decibels (within 3 meters).
Alpina Smart Home app
Even if you are not at home, you can receive a notification on your smartphone that there is smoke or fire in your home. Alpina's app is easy to manage and install from Android or iOS.
Once the app is installed, you press the plus sign in the app and add your fire alarm that must be connected to the same WiFi.
Optical sensor
Alpina's smart fire alarms have optical technology. This technology is also best for detecting thick smoke where a major fire has not yet broken out. Smoke detectors are powered by two AA batteries.
Location in the home
Smoke alarms must be in every home but should also be in every room except the bathroom. Make sure that you can always hear the smoke alarm wherever you are in your home. Make sure that fire alarms are located where there is the greatest risk of fire but also where you spend the most time to be able to react quickly if a fire occurs. Smoke detectors should also not be placed directly in corners but a little further away. Read the manual carefully to get the most out of your fire alarm!
Silent alarm and optical warning
When the Alpina fire alarm sounds, it can be paused for about 10 minutes by pressing on the test button. The red LED light flashes every 8 seconds to indicate that they are in "silent mode". This silent mode should only be activated if you know the reason why it sounds and should not be used in life-threatening situations!
After about 10 minutes, it starts to sound again if you have not aired the room after e.g. burnt by the food and the like.
When the battery starts to wear out, the fire alarm will beep every 40 seconds to warn that a new battery is needed.
