With the DIRA S 32i CD, TELESTAR is setting standards in the field of stereo smart radios, because: With the S 32i CD, a wide range of functions meets user-friendliness, the best sound experience, high-quality components and an elegant design.
The complete system receives digital DAB+, analogue FM and web radio stations transmitted via internet stream, has a CD player with MP3 playback, allows access to various music streaming services and can play music files from external devices or data storage devices thanks to UPnP, Bluetooth 5.1 (with transmitter and receiver function) and USB.
The large TFT colour display with a diagonal of 3.2'' (approx. 8.1cm) shows useful background information in razor-sharp detail, 2 3'' speakers with 15W power each in combination with the digital sound processor (DSP) and extensive equalizer ensure the best sound enjoyment.
Another highlight: thanks to the record function, music streams can be easily recorded on a connected USB data storage device at the touch of a button or via timer programming!
The radio is also equipped with innovative EWF and Journaline technology.
EWF is an alarm system based on the DAB+ broadcasting network which sends an emergency program to the relevant recipients in the event of a disaster and can thus save lives.
Other useful additional functions such as an alarm clock, sleep timer or the display of current weather information round off the radio's range of functions

EWF test runs are carried out regularly, both nationwide and regionally.
In order to be able to receive not only real emergency warnings but also test warnings via EWF, please make the following settings on your DIRA S 32i CD:
Open the menu
Open the "SYSTEM" menu item
Go to the "EWF settings" sub-item
Under "ON/OFF" please activate "Alarm+Test ON"
In the "Journaline settings" sub-item you can also activate the text service for warning messages.
